Colombia Startups is an independent publication covering Colombia's technology ecosystem — the founders building in it, the investors funding it, and the programs accelerating it.

We publish long-form guides, investor directories, founder spotlights, and ecosystem analysis. All content is written from Medellín by someone physically embedded in the ecosystem, not synthesized from a desk abroad.

Why This Exists

Colombia's startup scene is real and growing. It's also fragmented. Useful information is scattered across Spanish-language blogs, LinkedIn posts, government PDFs, and WhatsApp groups. If you're a founder trying to raise capital, an investor evaluating the market, or anyone trying to understand the landscape, finding reliable, consolidated information in English is harder than it should be.
